About Movie: It’s documentary movie based on the first footage of the count Leo Tolstoy that was shot secretly in 1908 in Yasnaya Polyana. This movie is about the real personal story of the last two years of the great Russian writer’s life, the story of his death, funeral and the national grieving on the demise of the national genius. Restored footage of Leo Tolstoy from over 100 years ago. Through software analysis, the producers were able to discern the speech from silent film. The cameras see the eager and jealous wish of Tolstoy’s protégé and friend, Vladimir Chertkov, to be closer to him, and a similar wish of the count’s wife, Sofya Andreyevna. Everything is filled with their competition, their fight for Tolstoy’s heritage. Suffering from these conflicts, in 1910 Tolstoy makes up his mind to escape.Special Attraction:- Thanks to the improvement of digital technologies, that finally made the restoration of the historical footage and its use for artistic goals possible, the audience for the first time gets so close to the great Leo Tolstoy and is absorbed in the dramatic details of the last years of his life.
